We design type for brands. We bring together expertise in type design, production, branding and research to make typography a working part of a brand system.

Capitalics WTF is a type foundry and studio founded in 2017. We design custom and retail typefaces, develop typographic systems and advise brands and institutions on how typography can support their identity and communication.

Our work covers both digital and print applications, from individual letterforms to complete type families and systems.

Our team combines professional design practice with research and teaching. This gives us a broad view of typography – from drawing and font production to branding, implementation and the history of type.

We also create Typoteka.pl, a digital index of Polish typefaces, and work on projects that brings Polish typographic heritage back into contemporary use.

As the first digital type foundry in Poland, operating since 2017, we have developed an extensive library of retail fonts. We also create custom typefaces and provide typographic consulting for brands.

In parallel, we pursue research and educational projects, including the development of Typoteka.pl and initiatives focused on restoring historical Polish typefaces to contemporary use.
